Background
Smart Commute Hamilton began in 2005 as a local office of the regional Smart Commute program, under the auspices of Metrolinx. Since that time, Smart Commute Hamilton has seen tremendous growth. The Transportation Management Association continues to add new employer members, most recently welcoming the CAA-SCO and the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce. Smart Commute Hamilton also organizes a variety of events throughout the year to promote alternatives to single occupancy vehicle use. Employees of our partner employers, as well as the general public, continue to benefit from the programs and initiatives of Smart Commute Hamilton.
