Car sharing allows for a group of people to have the convenience of driving without the hassles of auto ownership, maintenance and insurance! This co-operative program is ideal for commuters who use an automobile occasionally or for those who want to reduce the number of cars they own. Users may reserve a vehicle for any requested time and duration. The fleet of cars is easily accessed in a central location nearby members’ neighbourhoods or transit routes. Car share membership and fees will cover the fuel, maintenance and repairs of the vehicles. Hamilton is beginning its car sharing program.
